Benjamin Joannou is a pioneer of digital investor relations reporting and communication in South Africa. In 2002, he joined Overend Outsourced as a managing member, heading up online reporting.
He has consistently set benchmarks for digital reporting through product development and service delivery. Over the years, this has included innovative solutions ranging from communicating mergers, major B-BBEE transactions, company unbundling to crisis communications.
He has introduced feeds, utilities, tools and software to the South African market to enhance corporate websites, and ensure we bridge the gap in communications between listed companies, their investors, stakeholders and analysts alike.
His “lead-by-example” leadership style, coupled with being a strong integrator, have led to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Bastion Group. His vision and commitment remains clear –innovation, development and enhancement of investor relations communications through service delivery.
